InboxFold Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Four Sprouts LLC ("we", "us") about using InboxFold. By using InboxFold, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What InboxFold is
InboxFold is an Android app for parents. With your permission, it reads your school emails in Gmail and turns them into a list of things to do and dates to remember. Our Privacy Policy explains what we read, keep and delete.
2. A test version
InboxFold is in a test period. It is offered free of charge to a small group of testers. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times.
3. Provided "as is"
We work hard to make InboxFold useful, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without promises of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will always work, be error-free, or find every email or date that matters.
4. AI can be wrong
InboxFold uses AI (Google's Gemini) to read emails and write the cards. AI can make mistakes. A card can have a wrong date, time, place or child, or miss something important.
Always check the original email before you rely on a card, especially for deadlines, payments, health, safety, or anything you can't undo. Each card links to the emails it came from.
InboxFold is a helper. It does not replace reading messages from your school.
5. Who can use InboxFold
- You must be 18 or older.
- InboxFold is offered only in the United States.
- Connect only a Gmail account that is yours, or that you are allowed to use.
- Use InboxFold only for your own family's school and activity emails.
6. Your responsibilities
- Keep your phone and your Google account secure. Anyone who can open InboxFold on your phone can see your list.
- Check the original email for anything important (see section 4).
- Don't misuse the service. For example: don't try to reach other people's data, overload or attack our servers, get around the app's security checks or limits, or copy or resell the service.
- Google's own terms apply to your Google account and Gmail.
7. Your data
Your data stays yours. You let us use it only to run InboxFold for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Ending the service
You can stop at any time. Use Delete account in the app's Settings, or see the steps at https://inboxfold.app/delete-account. Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account or stop email checks.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or to protect other users or the service. We may also end the test, or the whole service. When we can, we will tell you in advance by email or in the app. If the service ends, we will delete the data we hold as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on a card without checking the original email, from missed or wrong items, or from the service being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law says cannot be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and change the effective date. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using InboxFold after a change, the new terms apply.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
